This is Tolentino rail station, situated on the highly scenic route between Fabriano and Civitanova Marche, Italy. The branch is operated by ALN railcar units which provide operational flexibility. The unit in the picture is bound for Macerata, and will then continue to Civitanova. While passenger numbers are light, the branch is a vital link between the coast of Le Marche and inland Umbria.This picture taken 18 July 2009. | ||
