The Cisalpino rolling stock, shown here at Modena station, is typical of the comfort and speed of much of Italy's rail system. Travelling along the high speed Milan-Bologna corridor, it offers an efficient and relaxing way to see Italy's major cities. Modena station is relatively near the city centre and it is possible to walk there. This line is currently being upgraded to a Diretissima or high speed line with dedicated Eurostar units providing a fast service between Miilan and Bologna.
